She never liked Leon to begin with, said he was "Just some showboating racer with no hope in combat!" The truth was she was jealous of his calm flying form, She envied him that he made maneuvering look so easy. She wanted to be friends with him but her pride always got in her way.

It wasn't until one day of training that a malfunction in her jet knocked out all of her safety settings, electronics and caused her engines to stall, Leon risked his own life and managed to bring Talon back safely, after that she forgot about her pride and decided to start a team with Leon and Misha once they got out of training.
